Miracle

"There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle.? Albert Einstein."

Miracle. It is a common subject. We always hear someone talking about miracle, either directly or relating it with any occasion that happens to them. Usually, people will relate it with occasion that makes their life better, such as meeting with an amazing person or encountering an event that affect their whole, especially improving it to a better state. Whatever it is, miracle definitely does not come everyday. As for me myself, miracle seldom appears in my own life. Everyone has their own opinion about miracle.

''Miracles are spontaneous, they cannot be summoned, but come of themselves” -Katherine Anne Potter. Some people say that there is nothing that can cause miracle. It just come to us unconditionally, whether we realize it or not. We might not realize something that we encounter today or just now might be considered as a miracle. For instance, avoiding yourself from falling might be a miracle after all.

However, in some circumstances, the meaning of miracle as stated above is not valid. In Islam, miracle is defined as a supernatural intervention in the life of human beings. It is usually called 'mukjizah', as in the Arabic term. 'Mukjizah' is related to miracless that happened to Prophets, for example, Allah sent Al-Quran to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as a 'mukjizah for him.'Mukjizah ' acts as a proof for the prophets as a messenger from Allah. In Islam, everything that happens in life comes from Allah, whether we like it or not. This is because everything that happens has been fated by Allah, or known as Qada' and Qadar. We must accept it with all our heart, and realize that there is something hidden behind the things that happens in our life.

Well, if anything happens in our life, treat them equally whether it makes us happy or makes us feel down at some time. Remember that there is secret behind everything, and it is the secret from the sky as everything is destined by Allah swt.
